Gyananand - the joy of true knowledge! And no doubt a divine pleasure filled one's heart on hearing Gyananand speak. Even prose spilled out of his lips like a divine sweet song, and he could enthral huge crowds with his powerful speech. When he stirred the emotions of the audience not a eye remained dry, and with light anecdotes he would have them rolling in the aisles.
Yet there was a time when this very man would stutter and stammer, even with shortest of sentences, shrink from addressing anyone from the dread of being laughed at and found it difficult to retain even bits of information in his memory. Yet even as a child he dreamed of great success and fame, and this strong wish in fact led him to a Spiritual Master who completely transformed his life.
One day unable to stand the scorn, rebukes and taunts of his family members and friends any longer, he decided to desert the society which only knew how to make fun of him. He set out from home without any particular destination in mind. For years he wondered in the Himalayas searching for someone who could help. It was a hard life and he had to go without food sometimes for days at a stretch, yet the hope of succeeding some day kept him alive.
Then suddenly his stars decided that he had been through enough trials and led him to Gurudev's door. He was accepted as a disciple and then started years of testing by a perfect Master who would bestow divine grace only on the most deserving. These tests were however child's play for the young man who had weathered Nature's fury itself and he came out with flying colours in every test Gurudev subjected him to. Moreover he did not mind these harsh tests for deep down something told him that he, had at last reached the right place.
Then after two years the golden day dawned when Gurudev showered divinity onto his parched soul. A special ritual marked the occasion in which Gurudev activated his latent faculties and blessed him with mesmerising eloquence, sharp intelligence and a photographic memory. At the end of the ritual, Gurudev inscribed the Saraswati Beej Mantra on his tongue with a silver pen dipped in honey. It had a miraculous effect and ever since he has been a powerful speaker who can sway the mood of a crowd, and a remarkable individual who can retain permanently anything read or spoken just once.
The simple, ordinary youth of yester years was given a new name - Gyananand and to this day he is the foremost of Yogis of the Himalayas. Truly wonderful is this Sadhana which is being reproduced ahead, through which parents can ensure success of their wards in the most tough trials and examinations. It's a ritual that can produce geniuses in every field - medical, engineering, politics, economy, academics and even sports. Laurels, fame and accolades are sure to flow to the individual who had been able to imbibe the power of this Sadhana.
Mother or father of the child can accomplish this amazing ritual. The most propitious day would be Friday or Monday of the bright phase of the lunar month .Get up early in the morning at 4 am. Have a bath and get into yellow robes. Get the child too ready for the ritual. Next sit on a yellow mat facing East or North. Make the child sit on your right hand side. On a wooden seat spread a yellow cloth.
Then on a steel plate place the Saraswati Yantra . Bathe the Yantra with water. Wipe it dry. Place it in a separate place covered with yellow flowers. Next make a mark of sandalwood paste on the Yantra.
Pray to the Guru for success in Sadhana. Offer rice grains, incense and a ghee lamp and chant thus.
Shuklaam Brahm Vichaar Saar Paramaamadyaam Jagadvyapineem,
Veennaa Pustak Dhaarinneem Bhayadaam Jaadyaandhkaaraapahaam
HasteSfalikmaalikawn Vid-dhartee Padmaasane Sansthitaam,
Vande Taam Parmeshwareem Bhagwateem Buddhipradaam Shaaradaam
Next place 'Medhini Gutika' on right hand side of the Yantra. Offer fragrance, rice grains and vermilion on it. Thereafter with a silver straw dipped in honey write the Saraswati Mantra (ऐं) on the child's tongue.
Take water in your right palm and pledge thus: I (name) son of (father's name) accomplish this Saraswati Sadhana for my child (child's name) mental development
Let water flow onto the ground. With a Saraswati rosary chant 11 rounds of this Mantra.
Om Ayeim Vaagvaadinyei Ayeim Om
॥ ॐ एं वाग्वादिन्यै ऐं ॐ ॥
After Sadhana string the Gutika in a red thread and tie it around the child's neck. This is a single day ritual but one can continue chanting the Mantra just 11 times every morning for added benefits. Drop the Yantra in river or pond. The rosary must be kept preciously and put around the child's neck whenever he or she sits in some competition/exam.
